Custom Cupboard Handles

This was my first real foray into molding and casting. I got the idea to cast these cupboard handles from a master after my sister found a collection of vintage plastic handles on eBay. They were of course hugely expensive, so I figured I'd just order one handle and use it as a master to make copies! Ironically, I ended up spending more on silicone, resin, and dyes than I would have just buying all the handles in the first place. But this way I got to learn basic molding and casting skills, and had a lot of fun doing it.

If I were to attempt this again, I'd use a less viscous, longer pot-time resin to prevent the air bubbles you see in some of the photos.
