Eye, Robot

Good old fashioned animatronics! This project started when I got nerd-sniped by a YouTube video a few years back. Once I saw it, nothing could stop me from building my very own pair of blinking robot eyes. I combined parts of that creator's methodology with a few other techniques I found online to get what you see here. This project really pushed my CAD skills and made me better for it. Eventually it grew into a fully articulated head with a small LCD robot mouth. I'm still working on getting the mouth fully integrated into the Arduino code. I'm having trouble running the servos and the LCD off the same microcontroller. Hopefully more to come soon on this one.
